Stewart
Executive Chef
A bit about you: As a chef I am passionate about crafting dishes from a wide range of global cuisines. My culinary style is rooted in dynamic techniques, with a special focus on braising and comfort foods that bring warmth and connection to every plate. I thrive in the world of catering, where I get to share my love of food by creating memorable curated meals for people on their most meaningful occasions. What does "Palatable" mean to you? Palatable means "pleasant to taste," and that’s exactly what I aim to deliver. We believe great food should be both exciting and familiar. Our menu includes a variety of cuisines, and no matter what techniques we use in the kitchen, the end result is always something comforting and easy to enjoy. It's new ideas with classic flavors, and creating food that feels special and satisfying every time. When you’re not working, what do you like to do in your free time? When I'm not working, I enjoy dancing Latin hustle and attending local dance events. It keeps me active while staying connected to my community. I also love relaxing with a good movie or binging a TV series with my wife.

A bit about you: I've been working in catering for nearly a decade and truly enjoy collaborating with clients to create their ideal catering experience—one that works for both them and our team. I bring years of experience and a problem-solving mindset to craft creative, seamless solutions for catering in any location, venue, or property. What does "Palatable" mean to you? To me, palatable means approachable. From the first phone call or email to the very last bite of your meal, every part of your experience with us should feel welcoming, easy, and enjoyable—for you and your guests. When you’re not working, what do you like to do in your free time? Outside of work, I love cooking, hiking with my dogs, mountain biking, mushroom foraging, and pretty much anything that gets me out into nature.

Sales Manager
A bit about you: For almost 20 years, I have working in BC's special events industry. After dabbling in production, entertainment and other areas, I found my sweet spot in the catering world, where my passion for event planning and food overlap. I thoroughly enjoy the process of working alongside clients to determine their unique needs, and create an event that is reflective of their vision. What does "Palatable" mean to you? For me, 'palatable' means welcoming. Food is nourishment for your mind, body and soul, and many cultures show their love and share their bonds through food. We want our meals and service to provide this warm and welcoming experience, no matter what the occasion. When you’re not working, what do you like to do in your free time? When I'm not planning your events, I enjoy hiking in our beautiful forests, attending live music shows, experimenting in the kitchen, reading mystery thriller novels and learning Spanish.
